2008 - MOUNT BAKER

Mount Baker, a famous ski resort, is situated in North West Washington, just East of the town of Lynden, and just South of the Canadian border.

These pictures were taken from my balcony in Burnaby, B. C. Canada.

Lights in the foreground are Burnaby, British Columbia.

2005, Jan, 15 - Apr. 10
in the state of Washington, U. S. of A.

During the early part of 2005 I was driving truck for a company called `Mexico Trading' which is a subsidiary of `Tropimex'. Both companies are situated in Richmond, B C. Canada.

I drove an International conventional pulling 53 Ft. reefers to towns in Texas. Some of the products I hauled; meat, soap, etc. were destined for Texas but most were bound for Mexico.

Returning to Canada I carried some American products that I picked up in towns in Texas but most loads were products of Mexico; watermelons, avocados, etc, that I picked up from customs agents in border towns such as Laredo, Texas.

These are some of the pictures I took, through the windshield, along the route.

On this particular tip, South through Washington State, it was early in the morning and approaching rush hour in Seattle.

I took a detour from my regular route, South on 405 to I-90, and went East on Hwy. 2 through Skykomish and Stevens Pass.

NOTE 2013 – I have updated this page with additional pictures taken during trips in `09 and `10.
