Merriam-Webster Online.

2005, Jan, 15 - Apr. 10
in the state of Utah, U. S. of A.

During the early part of 2005 I was driving truck for a company called `Mexico Trading' which is a subsidiary of `Tropimex'.

Both companies are situated in Richmond, B C. Canada.

I drove an International conventional pulling 53 Ft. reefers to towns in Texas.

Some of the products I hauled; meat, soap, etc. were destined for Texas but most were bound for Mexico.

Returning to Canada I carried some American products that I picked up in towns in Texas but most loads were products of Mexico; watermelons, avocados, etc,

that I picked up from customs agents in border towns such as Laredo, Texas.

These are some of the pictures I took, through the windshield, along the route.

Hole `n the Rock, in the state of Utah, U. S. of A.

Normally, when I am driving, I don't make unnecessary stops.

I believe that when I am on the job I am on company time and the company wants the load at its destination as soon as possible.

Returning to Canada, on my last trip with this company, I was ahead of schedule and I took the time to stop.

I had been by her several times and my curiosity was up.

The main attraction is a 5,000 Sq. Ft. home that is carved into the base of a sandstone butte.

Situated 12 Mi. South of Moab it was originally a restaurant and dance floor for the people from Moab.

outside of the home, the garden area is festooned with souvenirs that have been donated from various points of the compass.

Above the home, carved into the cliff, is the face of FDR, a former president of the USA.
