METAL GAZEBO

METAL GAZEBO

Question, sent to Scruff.

At the 86 fair, to the South East of Science World was a metal Gazebo. Do you know the name, purpose, history, etc.???

REPLY, from Scruff.

Hi,

The Gazebo you are thinking about was built for Expo and used as a bandstand during the fair.

Old fashioned bands welcomed visitors entering via the East Gate and the music helped set the mood for the Folklife exhibit nearby.

Thanks for visiting the Expo 86 pages and if you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

Scruff.
