Author's note: Original map by RAND McNALLY, butchered by Lee. A Wood
In the latter part of `08, when things were slow in the film industry, I bought a truck and leased it to a company called Pathfinder which was based in Port Kells, B C. Canada.
More than one trip went from Calgary to Saskatoon, SK. Or vice versa.
I used various routes from Calgary to highway 9.
I usually went East on 560, commonly called Glenmore trail, and then turned North, either; East, or West, of Dalemead depending on the weight restrictions on the Eastern end of 234.
THE TOWN OF ALSASK IS NOT ON THE HIGHWAY
IT IS IN SASKATCHEWAN,
THOUGH THE CEMETERY IS IN ALBERTA
THOUGH CFS ALSASK NO LONGER EXISTS
THE RADAR DOME IS STILL THERE
LEAVING ALBERTA ON HWY. 9
ENTERING SK. ON HWY. 7
