During the winter of `08 - `09, when things were slow in the film industry, I bought a truck and put it on with a company called `Pathfinder' which was based in Port Kells, B C. Canada.
I had an `07 Volvo 780, conventional pulling 53 Ft tandem dry vans hauling various commodities for various companies.
These are some of the pictures I took, through the windshield, along Highway 40.
This was an interesting trip for me as the last time I had been from Grande Prairie to Hinton we had to take a Forestry Trunk Road that was mostly dirt and unusable if it had rained.
Highway 40 is a modern, paved, road that is newly built from Grande Prairie to Grande Cache with some improvements on the Horn Hwy. - the older section from Grande Cache to Hwy. 16.
